Although this film is not a horror, but a thriller, I feel that some of the techniques used, such as the blurred lights, are techniques that could be used in our film opening to portray the unclear narrative and slightly fearful.
We said we were going to use some techniques from thrillers in our horror film and I think this is a good example and we should use some of the techniques in this srquence. For example shallow focus at 1.15 in the clip.
ReplyDeleteThis is a simple opening sequence however contains a variety of effective techniques to set the genre and attract the audience. Techniques such as the shallow focus have the possibility to be used within our opening.
