JM - Research

Above is a clip from 28 Days later. There is some interesting use of black flashes alongside the film with the audio bridged over. This technique could be ideal for our group as it will allow us to show the Zombies in detail and maintain a realistic feeling to the opening sequence.

  1. This is a really useful opening as the ighting effect can be used in our opening sequence, this is set at night as ours is. Allowing us to copy some of shots used such as the 'foot level' through the legs shot. Also the quick cutting rate that we could use will help portray panic and corruptionwithin the opening sequence. Furthermore the mise-en-scene and costume will help us convey our 'zombies' and contrasting colours.

  2. Yes, this is really useful Joshua, and we can definitely use that effect in our sequence, and you do not need a high budget to make it look effective which is excellent.
